trading his ass!
:becky:
Trading him would create a void on the edge. they could start building around Micah. I been thinking how this defense would look like with either Mike Green or Jalon Walker helping Micah ..these two are going to be great players IMO.

I been on the Walker bandwagon for months now. Walker and Overshown would be a heck of a duo Mike Green has several effective pass rush moves already.

But I do understand the trade chatter surrounding Micah. Micah been talking a lot and I I doubt the Jones's are happy about it. They better get 3 1st rounders in exchange if they go that route. Micah is worth a lot of draft capital.

I saw 3 projected trade packages today for Micah. Any of them would be fair compensation. Two 1sts, a 2nd and a player, two 1sts and two players or three 1sts. At least that wouldn't be like the Luka WTF deal. Of course, Jerry would probably take a 3rd a 5th and an exchange of 4ths next year

Would be a shame not to take a moment to acknowledge the fact that 25 years ago Tuesday...

I only met him once. Saw SMU vs. Texas Tech at the Texas stadium. Special game for the areas Fellowship of Christian Athletes. SMU stomped the shit outta Tech.

Anyway Tom and Roger spoke. Good times....

Look, I would kill to have Micah as an Eagles but (3 first) or (2 first, 2nd, player) ain’t happening because he needs to be given a HUMONGOUS deal. No one is giving up all that and handing out a huge deal. You could have got tons for Micah 1 year or 2 ago while his deal was low.
Think of it like this. The Eagles got a top 5 beast of a WR in AJ Brown for a 1st that was like 18 or 19. They got him for little cause he needed a new deal.
Who is gonna give up
2 firsts
A 2nd
A player
And a 200 million dollar deal for Micah?

Probably no one. But that's why I said I would not trade him under any circumstances. Anything less than those deals is cents on the dollar.
I will say there are possibilities. Take the Lions and Bills. Both teams have been right there for a while now, and a player like Micah might do the trick to get them to a Super Bowl. The first rounders they would be giving up would be late 20's-early 30's, so likely 2nd round graded players either way. I think teams like that might make the stretch

Got to laugh at all the trade rumors. The Myles Garrett trade makes no sense. They not going to pay him. A trade like Cee Dee Lamb for say a bag of Doritos does make sense for this FO

I could see that! Someone like Detroit with later firsts. That would really put them on top with Hutchinson coming back. It would have to be a team saying “We are all in!”

Micah rushing from anywhere with Hutchinson off the edge would make them the favorites IMO. That would be worth the three picks

So far everything about this coaching staff seems like a massive improvement. Whether or not they can overcome the Jerry factor is of course the bigger issue...

I saw a pod the other day talking about the huge commitment to the run game. I thought that might mean draft capital on the OL, but they said Schotty was a huge fan and supporter of Hoffman and Bass, so i think they may role with what they have.
If Jerry goes out and adds talent I think coaching will not be a problem

They also got Nate Thomas who could develop as a legit guard. I kind of felt that Dowdle left some meat on the bone last season. So many times he did not pick the right hole to go through. I was not joking when I said they need to draft multiple running backs. One early and one later.

I could envision them paying Dowdle and then he goes on IR. If I was GM I don't resign Dowdle early on in FA. If some other team wants to over pay then so be it.

I do like Bass and Hoffman. I do like that they have a new OL coach. Maybe the new OL coach can develop Guyton.. my concern with Guyton is I see no aggression or fire

I think we have some legit OL coaches. They talked a LOT about being physical and violent. I think we still have issues at tackle though. Even good coaches can't make chicken.salad out chicken shit lol.
I think Dowdle is solid, but needs to be paired with a guy that is a big play threat. If they draft Jeanty, Hampton, Henderson or Johnson in the first two rounds, those are bell cows. If they bring back Dowdle, there are plenty of guys third round or later that would pair well with Dowdle
