Smith is turning into the new Sean Lee. Warriors, but their bodies are just broken down. We should have moved on from Lee already and need to find a replacement for Smith or at least a starter quality swing tackle - maybe it's Knight...

We are down like 11 starters or guys starting due to the starter being out - counting Frederick and McCoy. it’s 12 if you count Lewis who missed a game. That’s insane and I bet half of them are pro bowlers. I can’t imagine other teams have that.
Yes, this team resembles a MASH unit.

Easier said than done, but we might want to stop signing players with an existing record of contstant injuries.
And more importantly construct our roster so that we are prepared for injuries that we know have a good chance of happening like Lee and our OTs

Luckily for many Fans, they have the luxury of sticking their head in the sand and not expecting injuries, teams don't without serious repercussions

yep....think Martin might be moved to left tackle., could see Knight go to right guard and TE Bell play a shit load more lined up beside the right tackle.
Going to have to live will Williams at LG and prey the rookie center is all that and avoids injury

Lee & Smith are bargains based on NFL standards for players with their service time and accolades.
Who else you got?
Bargains while playing, how about when they're in tennis shoes.
I get taking care of your own, but this is a business, and if the product on the shelves isn't selling, you replace that product.
Also LVE appears to be in that category.

Hindsight remains 20/20 for message board GM's

Yes injuries happen, but when you ignore injury history when signing contracts, you just lying to yourself.

Yep....Dallas should send him packing after this season too.
Trick remains replacing these guys with players that don't get injured. I already think Jerry & his posse are over their heads, so I kinda think you guys are pissing in the wind here...but that's just me

I'll add, if an injury prone player is signed with an unjury clause out, I'm good with it, but signing guys who you must keep regardless of an injury, hurts the TEAM.
I'm team first, player second.

who exactly are you referring to here. You can't be talking about when Smith signed his contract and do yor really think what Lee made last year and this year serves as a good example to this bitch session?

If I ran the team and was able to get LVE to sign a massive deal with a team protection I'd do it, but if he insists on a deal that handcuffs the team as he's on the sideline, I'd let him walk and take the comp pick.

But how many times was his contract redone kicking the can down the road?
