Early, early thoughts on the Bills...

That defense looked really soft in the middle. Lots of poor tackling against Eagles RB’s. Not sure what to make of their offense. Seemed to be a mishmash of things that the Eagles handled well.

and....that upgrade statement is debatable from what I've seen this year

I don’t post on here anymore out of respect but have you seen the Eagles abysmal secondary. You’d be an upgrade in our secondary.
Last week when Dallas ripped Philly the announcers said, “The Cowboys haven’t given up a 1st down when the other team is at 3rd and 10 or worse”. Buffalo had a drive in the 3rd (I think) where we gave up a 3rd and 13, a 3rd and 10 and a 3rd and 15. That’s 3 in one drive. Awful

Honest question from someone who hears it all the time... how much of this do you lay at the feet of Jim Schwartz? I’m no fan of the guy but I tend to agree with you. Your secondary is awful.

From the things I never thought I'd say for one thousand category: Brett Maher, Hall of Fame

There is a lot I dont understand about Maher. He can miss a 33 yarder by a mile and then he hits those long field goals. Maybe he needs to get one of those sports shrinks. The other thing is he can hit those long field goals yet rarely kicks the ball out of the endzone on kickoffs.

So what would you guys want? The only possible starter caliber player I can see us trading for would be a safety . After so many years and so many chances to sign player after player after player including this past offseason where many guys were available that could have helped us, I don't see how this team finally realizes that they need one so I suspect even that isn't happening.

Maybe another backup OT? Smith and Collins have just been injured so much lately. I thought Knight did well, but wouldn't mind an upgrade.

it is his hustle. No he is not a good safety & dont know why he still starts, but that is the one thing he brings to the table. A lot of hustle. now if someone could just give him some instincts.
