A lot depends on the injury situation for sure. Can Eberflus get this defense to stop the run is one of the biggest questions. Maybe a guy like Toia can help a lot there if he is rotated in frequently. I got a hunch he can help there.

I also see no reason they can't run the ball better if Smith,Beebe and Booker stay healthy. All three of these guys can maul and move anybody.

This is the NFL so things can change rapidly.

I think we are on our way back to being a good team under Schottys leadership. I think it will take 3 years to build this thing into a Super Bowl contender. But no matter what the record, I expect a different style. Plus, we didn't bust the draft by reaching for need. I was worried when we missed on McMillian they would skip down to a WR even though Booker was top 10 on their board. They did the right thing.

They need a couple of more drafts like this one, more important, they need Overshown to return to full health, which I don't feel will be until after next season. Overshown can be a Superstar that pairs with Micah, and Revel and EZ could easily hit. We still need a lot of things, either Mazi and Guyton develop or we have to find a 3T and LT which are premium positions. We need, a lead back and a #2 WR. We need Ferguson and Steele to return to form. But its a start

Multiple at a position group is the next.
QB, CB and DE is NFL season killer.

Yes, I'm way too optimistic for many of you.
Guess it has something to do with health and if we have those 5 starters or strong rotational players from this draft.

Prescott playing 16/17 games is a must have. Like it is with most teams.
Thinking 9 or 10 wins if Prescott stays upright.

Looks like several of us have them around 10 wins..I think if ever a team deserved a little luck when it comes to injuries, it's this one

Dak is the most important player, but he needs help.I do think Dak could be the biggest beneficiary of the Schotty hire. We were 3-5 in Dak starts and 4-5 in Rush starts, despite the fact that Dak is a top end QB and Rush and career backup. The reason was style of play. We were more committed to the run game and more conservative with Rush in and it kept us in games. I think a similar style with Dak would also yield more big plays because of Dak's ability and will help us win more games. JMO

Very True.
I think our interior 3 are a perfect fit for the new coaches style and could be a dominant trio by seasons end. I think Steele will have a big bounce back in this style.
By all accounts, Guytons issues had more to do with a lack of maturity, toughness and give a shit than anything else. I think his leash will be a lot shorter before we start looking at Asim Richard's there. If Guyton does happen to grow up, OL could join DE and QB as strength of the team
