I would not call Cowboy fans sheep. Just loyal like most other team's fans. Look at all the other teams that never ever won a Superbowl, like Detroit, etc. Never heard any of their fans called sheep for supporting the team every year.
Agree. I fly down every year and spend a lot of money for the weekend (as I’m sure you did) and I do it to watch my team, not the owner. If a fan wants to boycott the games as a protest that’s up to them and it’s not my business do comment on it, but it does seem all they do is deprive themselves of something they like and it has no impact on how the team is run. The ticket was already paid for by a season ticket holder and even if that ends after years of losing it still won’t change anything Because Jerry thinks he knows how best to do things.

Could not have said it better.

Pretty sure the only reason Wilson is playing is because he is paid more than Bell or Thomas. This is Jerry's doing. Jerry's stench is all over this

Wasnt watching. Basing my comment only on what you wrote and knowing nothing else it was a bad decision. 52 yarders are not like they used to be of course, but there’s not a kicker in the world who is better from 52 than he is 42. I never understood why coaches do this. once you get below 40, sure but you can’t tell me the odds difference between let’s say 42 and 52 isn’t larger than the odds of a fumble.

not knowing how many timeouts or how they got to that point or anything else I can’t be more specific with my thoughts. I get running the clock down and giving them no time, so not wanting to pass, but you have a guy in Gibbs who can break off a quick run at any time. Try to get closer. Even a few yards could make a difference

Exactly. I remember in the Romo days , Garrett doing something similar. Of course we missed our K and JG was blamed for icing his on K.

I mean this wasnt an ideal situation and i think Campbell just thought we are in a dome and didnt want any chance at a screw up. His K did already hit a 58 yarder in the same direction. Now it did kiss the upright as it went by, just like the game winner.

Its just one of those clock management situations that you hear coaches say we practice it everyday. Im not sure thats the case with this one.

The lions started the drive in no huddle, 1 timeout. . Once the got inside the 40 they throttled down. 1st down - 1:33 - they ran to the 35 . Houston was out of timeouts im assuming. 2nd down - 49 seconds - ran for no gain. 3rd down and 8 from 35 , 42 sec left with clock running - They let clock run to 4 sec , banged the last time out. Kicked the Fg.

Now if they miss , which they didnt , there is probably a lot of second guessing.

Houston was out of timeouts , i just went back and looked

Maybe Campbell did the right thing. A lot of clock management decisions are discussed these days and somehow setting up for a 52 yard field goal made him look like a genius with the play calling there.

Hopefully they give this kid a bunch of snaps over the rest of the season to see what he can do, but at the same time probably not fair to judge him with Rush and Lance throwing to him

I would like to see if he can add anything. Tolbert and Brooks not impressing me at all.

feel bad for the guy.
His whole (short) career he has had horrible Qbs throwing it to him.
Traded to a Dak led team & gets Rush & Lance throwing to him LOL

Why wouldn't it be? 2nd time he's been out for the year, team is 3-6, he will be 32 next season..
But he has a new wife and a newly minted 4 year $240 million deal. Life is fucking good
Remember when some said to play out the season and pay him on performance including this season? He wanted it that way with his demands.

Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Talk about hamstringing this team. I like dak as a person but that seems to change with every loss.

I have heard that Jerry was dead set on not signing Dak till after the season and Stephen won out. I bet Jerry is kicking himself a little right now. The way the season is going he would likely be in position to draft a QB high and save $60M per.
