TEXARKANA — A trial in a countersuit brought by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones against a mother and daughter who say he is the younger woman’s father came to a sudden resolution Tuesday afternoon...

The terms of the mid-trial deal were read aloud in court after the jury was called back into the courtroom. Jones, 81, agreed to drop the countersuit on the condition Alexandra Davis dismiss all pending lawsuits against Jones with prejudice, meaning she cannot decide later to bring her initial claims back to court.
