I loved Jonathan Smith as a player for Oregon State. He's the guy who authored the beat down of Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl years ago. He was a freaking stud QB in college for Oregon State, but he was an average at best OC at Washington in my opinion. How is he going to be any good at being a head coach? I guess we'll see. I would have to say the odds are greatly stacked against him.

I'd be surprised if TCU is very good early in the season next year. I think they lost quite a bit in the OL and DB. (I don't consider Kenny Hill much of a loss.) Patterson's defense is usually better if he has an experienced secondary.

Yeah. Speaking of the secondary they lost a starting corner and a safety. They lost 10 offensive starters too. Ouch. I hear the Robinson kid could be pretty studly and an upgrade from Hill though.

I'm hoping for a good game but they could get thumped too I suppose. Patterson though man. The dude can flat out coach.
