We're loaded in Goal. Defense could be a iffy. The forwards should be solid. I like the fact Okposo got an invite. He's a notorious slow starter so anything to motivate him to put it together early on is GREAT.

I actually like the D. Suter, Buff, Yandle, McDonagh, JJ and probably Martin would be my choices for now. Certain guys could impress between now and the selections though.

Goal is just silly.

Forwards we have a well rounded group of forwards. I think our top 2 lines can score with the best of them and the bottom two should be solid role players.

I'm happy to see guys like Abdelkader and DeKeyser get an invite even though them making the team is a long shot. Howard is a slam dunk to be the #2 behind Quick...unless Howard just becomes a wall in camp.

He could but I really think Howard is coming into his own now. HAd a great year and then also got the nice contract. I think Howard takes the next step...not to take anything away from Anderson. In all honesty, I think they both had better years than Quick.

Trend with the US roster: young, speedy. That's what's gonna help. That's what Canada is trying to do too. I like the coaching staff too. Lavvy and Granato are actually friends, btw. I think Lavvy was in Granato's wedding. Lavvy complements Bylsma perfectly in my eyes, and Granato is there for the PK probably...that's his schtick. I like Todd Richards too, obviously Blysma had a hand in picking his assistants, because he's pretty familiar with this crew. Lavvy is an X's and O's guy, Bylsma is likable and likes a fast game/knows the enemy pretty well, Richards I admit to knowing little about though. I'm pretty excited to see what this crew can do. I actually think going young is a good idea.
