So what do you guys and gals think?

It's been a week or so since the migration to this forum started.

I am looking for some feed back and hope I speak for the others (mods) as to what the feeling is about this site.

My personal opinion is that it is well run and the topics are generally on topic with not too much deviation.

The goal obviously is to keep it troll free and discuss the game we all love and support.

I can't speak for others but feel free to PM me with any pro's and con's how you think things are going.

You can post on this topic if you like but if you feel you have a comment that you would rather not made public that's fine with me, just PM me.

I love the preview you get when you move the cursor over a thread title.
lets you know if you want to read that thread or not, in case the title isn't clear.

i think we all know the type of poster we were trying to avoid in establishing this community outpost, and the first test had been passed.
It comes down to the mods were either indifferent / incompetent at the swamp, and we have promoted from within here. HUGE improvement in that respect.

I'd like the hockey board moved a little north on the main page if that doesn't pose any issues. I don't think we need specific team boards here yet.

This place is great. Everyone is really cool. No cons that I can think of yet. I don't know if it's growing, but if so the people being added every day haven't been trolling so that's a good sign.

Personally, I think we have the best of both worlds right now. The swamp is there and people should feel free to post there anytime they want. The NHL team boards at the swamp still have very good posters that rarely frequent the main board and I know we have posters on this board that still want to interact with them. At the same time, it's nice to have this sanctuary (because I have a feeling the swamp will become more infested with each passing playoff round).

A huge improvement and sucess so far. The posters here are very good and I haven't seen very many BS going on and when it does happen it is dealt with accordingly.

A lot of the people who have been here from the beginning post elsewhere as well. Over time though, most have decided to post here exclusively. The general rule has been to go wherever you want, just don't bash the SportsHoopla.

I had lurked on the other board for a long time and only posted a little bit in the last 18 months or so, but this board is better in so many ways. I kinda snuck in the back door here, but plan on hanging around.
