This Hockey Forum is the best one I've ever posted on. A lot of that has to do with you people from ESPN. I lurked a lot over there on the General. There was just too much BS there that kept me from posting. I'm glad there is actually a place with quality posters to talk Hockey with.

It is definitely nicer here. The attitudes are kept in check and what would have turned into a flame war over there is a decent discussion here. Not always an agreement, but at least it's real.

In addition, I actually saw in the GNT a couple of posts deleted by the author because they were borderline inflammatory...effectively censoring themselves.

While he may be ugly, I still love him and miss him in Blue and Gold.

With that being said, now that playoffs are over for my Sabres, my nights aren't as consumed with hockey.. :-( that and being on this board, espn and another site..well I might not be on as much, it's back to lurking for me. The other site I'm on has it broken down by sports and I am mainly on the Bills and Sabres, espn was the only one where I was in the general for NHL on game days...I'll try to add my 2 cents every now and again, but sometimes I subscribe to the absence makes the heart grow fonder theory..lol
