I think if he wins, he retires. That way he goes out winning 6 and losing 3 super bowls. If he were to lose against the Rams, I'm not sure. A loss would put him at 5-4 in the Super Bowl. Does he stick around and risk another Super Bowl loss and being 5-5, or does he play with a loss because he doesn't want to go out losing back to back super bowls?

That said, I think he beats the Rams and retires

I agree, if Brady wins the SB what else does he have to prove? Why not go out a winner?

Brady is holding off father time longer than most...I think win or lose he comes back.

Why? He knows they will win the east and have a chance to redeem themselves from the loss, or hang 7 on the board and dare anyone to touch it.

Seeing Brady the last 2 games I would agree Brady should beat the Rams.

But when I think Aaron Donald ....it gives me a moment of pause.

If both teams play like they did on Sunday, Pats win easily.

I think Rams have to step it up a bit to get in the conversation.

He should play longer than Brees.

Brees arm is dying more each day.

One reason he keeps playing is for his post-football life with his TB12 business. The longer he plays at a high level the stronger his sales pitch to people will be with the TB12 program.

Also hyper-competitive guys just have a tough time walking away from the game. Usually they only walk away because their body can't take the beating to compete on that level anymore or nobody wants to sign them and the decision is made for them.

Sure like he's going to retire . What's left for him after football ? Hundreds of millions of dollars ? A supermodel wife? A health and fitness empire ? Any public speaking gig he wants ? Mayor of Boston ? Governor of Mass? President ?

Shit I forgot where I was going with this ....

How so, Rams defense has played great as well as their special teams

New Orleans was not great.

I think like I said that if they both play like they did, NE wins. NE played much better than NO did and have done the exact same thing 2 weeks in a row now.

And yes, so has LA.

But Dallas was not the Chargers and the Saints were not the offensive juggernaut KC is.

I don't think Pats win going away but if nothing changes they win. Period.

The Patriots have lot more experience playing in these type of games, Rams still learning, Rams are going to show Patriots something they never seen before and change it up, when Belichick figures it out. McVay needs to stay a step ahead

Non Patriot fans want him to walk away but honestly he is coming back no matter what. He would want to just to prove he can get 7. His health isn't an issue, money isn't an issue it is all about the competition and knowing if he can win more just to prove that no one can ever take the GOAT away from him.
