He's usually not throwing into big spaces. Your boys on the back end are on a different planet compared to a year ago. Take a look at McVay's face when they show him, he knows his D is in trouble if the Rams don't score often and TDs, so going for it there is kind of a no brainer.

Feel bad for Staff. This is about to get ugly. Should have been a holding call against their 4th string LT on that interception. But Hutch was still right in his face. The refs aren't going to let that kind of holding go every play (I assume) and that guy just isn't ready to go 1v1 with Aidan Hutchinson. I just don't see McVey being the type to throw away his whole gameplay and make the max protect type changes they need to protect him.
