actually, my daughter has my MIL's old 6s.

These damn phones, the technology is so far beyond my usage that I feel like I need to take a class to get my money's worth out of them when we get the next phone.

Pffft!!! Have you tried one? Cause I have tried the i-phones and I dont see the big deal at all. Good luck trying to fix one if you have a problem with it. Drop one on a pillow and watch it become a $1000 brick.

And it does not cost me hundreds of dollars every year for a phone.

I don't like the face recognition. I would much prefer to have the thumbprint back.
Battery life if great though.

I've had iphones since the 3G. Have broken 0 of them. Pretty confident I don't need an indestructible phone that is already a brick out of the box.

Money is not a concern.

I've learned to live with the Face ID. Annoying when using apple pay to hold the phone close to the reader, point it towards my face and double click the side button. Was easier with my thumb.

It's pretty fucking awesome. I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do. I held off until the 4th version, but this thing is fucking awesome. I have a couple nice watches that will forever live in a box now because all they do is tell time.

Not allowed to have anything that can receive a transmission on the courts. USTA rules. All phones need to be off too unless you have approved written permission (like a doctor for example).

Thinking about it, but it depends on the trade in values for my Xs.

I'd wait until next year unless you are like me and just get bored with one after awhile and want something new.

It's got the new A13 but shit the A12 is still better than the Quallcom silicon and some new camera features, but shit that's not really worthy of an upgrade from the Xs. The 2020 one is supposed to be a bigger jump from the rumors i have read.

Also had 2 where the battery swelled up because of overcharging or not using the apple approved charging block.

I leave my phone plugged in all the time with crappy chargers from 5 below and never had an issue. And if an issue were to arise, I can go on amazon and get a new battery for like 8 bucks and pop it in, saving myself the trouble of going to talk to some hipster goof at the Apple store because my phone is fucked up.

LG coming out with a nice folding phone soon. Will be way cheaper then Samsungs disaster. It will still be several hundred bucks though but if you live on your phone it might be worth it.
