Let's hope that Dan Snyder can purchase some holes at the line of scrimmage that he can run through:D

Great signing. This guy is a true third down back b/c he can block. Way better than Thompson. If Morris doesn't get signed Thomas would be the backup RB next year assuming we don't draft a RB. Thomas has a lot of talent is weird why he was still out there in FA. I heard that he turned down some deals. It's a steal if you ask me.

Yeah I like the move too. It should be obvious that the coaches are down on the RBs but if nothing else he is a solid third down back to replace the injured Thompson.

I've seen Pierre play a lot of football over the years...He's always been Steady Eddie, hope he can give the RB position some kind of spark.

IMO, as powerful as Jones is he has terrible vision for a RB. You can't change that, it is what it is. Redskins will absolutely need to address this position in the off season.

This is why if Elliot is there when we pick in the first he must get consideration for the pick.

No way the Redskins use a first round pick on Elliott. IMO there are no slam dunk RB's coming out that deserve a first round pick...I would say Henry is the only one who garners first round consideration, but a late first rounder at best.

The 2017 NFL draft will be special for the RB position. Could have the most NFL talent at this position we've seen in many years.

Elliot is a three down franchise back. If Gurley went #10 with an injury, where does Elliot go? Plus he is better than Gordon and he went in the teens. Henry is just a mauler don't know how he will go ahead of Elliot.

elliot is a game changer and has done it vs top talent . so depending on where we draft you should look at him

Jones, Elliot, and Thomas is a nice backfield. Thompson and Morris are both FA so letting them walk is very feasible.

There is no way we take Elliot in the first when we can get as good a back in the second.

Exactly what quality teams did Elliot beat?

He's a nice player, and I guess possibly could be a "game changer". But unless you think he will be a top 5 RB for the next 4 years, you don't draft him in the first round. History has shown us there are great NFL RB's to be had in later rounds.

IMO, the 2017 class will have 2 or 3 players with top 5 RB talent.

Mitz the bottom line is that Elliot is a top half 1st rounder.

Elliot is not Gurley.
No, he is not. We do not need to use our first pick on a RB, especially since history dictates that there usually isn't much of a drop off in production between a first round RB and a 3rd round RB, or lower.
