Teams will want to address the LT spot before the draft as their draft could be very well focused on getting a starting LT.
I think the trade actually happens around the start of FA.

A trade after the draft leaves other teams on the outside looking in for TW. It will happen pre draft for sure. If you can fill that NEED in FA like TW, the 10th pick will land them a great player at the top of the draft.

CLE makes the most sense. Mayfield was sacked an absurd amount of times. They also have two 3rd round picks. I would ask for a 2nd but we are probably looking at a 3rd rounder.

Agreed. We need to ask for the moon first and then obviously settle for less.

I would love a bidding war here between the Browns, Colts and Rams.

The Athletic's Connor Hughes reports the Jets are among the teams pursuing Redskins LT Trent Williams.
This makes sense. The Jets ranked 30th in adjusted sack rate and 31st in adjusted line yards per rush last season (Football Outsiders). Only the Steelers averaged fewer yards before contact per rush. Protecting Sam Darnold needs to be on the top of the team's offseason to-do list. Overall, Darnold was pressured on a league-high 41.6% of his dropbacks in 2019 (PFF).

You still think this happens after the draft Skinsdad?

I say we ask for best and final offers before the draft. We need that pick and I think there will be a bidding war. I am thinking we get multiple mid-round picks now. I would settle for a 1st but I cannot see that happening unless its the Dolphins of course. I will take that 26th pick off their hands gladly.

Yes, TW whined like a baby when they drafted Christian. I’ve lost total respect for the dude if you can’t tell.

The original plan was two mid round picks, like the Tunsil trade.

I dont see why the redskins couldnt get the same as that. TW is better than Tunsil, and both are significantly better than 38-year-old Jason Peters.

It sure would be nice to get the second round pick back.

He didn’t play much at all. Having said that though, I think I remember people saying he played decent when he did.

Do we have any suggestions on who will play LT in 2020? Not many options if we go Young with the #2 pick....and FA has little to nothing. Maybe Conklin can play LT?
