have you seen the ones in FA? Might as well keep what we got. and maybe its not an OT, maybe its a TE? Or LB? or a position of need for us. The point is is williams so much better that Daniels the he is worth 2 starters (one being the qb who many think will be more successful in the NFL than williams).

It appears free agency can assist with guards and centers possibly, but not at tackle.
I still think drafting tackles is the best path.

Frankly, other than Cosmi, the redskins need better players at all positions on the oline.

If free agency isnt good for tackles but is good for guards, then get two guards. Or one guard and a center. Then, along with Cosmi, you’d have 3/5 of your line “solved” and could focus on getting a tackle in the draft.

The perfect receipe for disaster in ruining a rookie qb is poor OLine play.

Cosmi is the one player to build off of with the OLine.

We aren’t going to have a choice. We can’t solve all problems via the draft. Just don’t pay big money for aging free agents. That’s a Dan speciality. We can’t be known annymore among aging vets as the last great payday before retirement.

I agree he has a bad hand dealt.

I make those comments based off of 2 reasons

First, some posters and fans annointed him the savior of the franchise. I was even told that EB should be an assistant GM.
Two posters told me EB should be hired immediately after the season by harris directly.

I was on board with EB, but it became apparent early on that he was in over his head. He also clearly didn't play with others.

After he was let go, Stephen a Smith implied that racism was at play here. Not sure how he came to that conclusion seeing that Antonio pierce, who is African American, also offered kingsbury the OC job.

There have been other articles I read on espn that sang the praises of EB and gave various reasons for him being passed over. At the end of the day, he was let go and not one team has attempted to bring him in at the college or nfl level.

That is all I am saying.
