Why do you think Sinnott has been a ghost this year? Isn't it odd a 2nd rounder isn't more involved offensively? He's not there yet bro, not by a long shot.
Bro, Ertz is NOT a vertical threat, moving the chains on short yardage is what he does, not to mention those clutch TDs.
My counter to you cutting Ertz was simply if Ertz can still play, why cut him? I think there has been a few games Bates ran more routes than Sinnott. I'm not yet saying Sinnott may be a bust, but im not sure if he's going to be a young Ertz next year either
Well, I beg to differ. Sinnott can replace Ertz' production for sure. Can he replace Ertz' leadership, experience? Nope, not asking him to. There are/will be other guys to do that. Ertz is a fraction of what he once was in Philly.

What does this have to do with his usage as a rookie?
Let me repeat myself. In NO WAY was Ertz not going to play or be the featured TE in Washington on a 1 yr deal unless injured. That's how DQ rolls when bringing in guys like Ertz or Wagner types. If Ertz does not resign, Sinnott will be the guy. I will eat crow if he isn't. How's that?

Naw man, i didn't mean it that way.
I appreciate your opinion, it was more an argument angle than attacking you.
I have some serious concerns about Sinnott, i love his preseason tape and thought he would have more productivity. I've seen him make some good plays but also execute plays poorly. All rookies have a curve

i think we need another TE to pair with sinnot . sinnot can take the bates role and offer more pass catching .

I didn't take it as "attacking". In my humble opinion, Sinnott has been held back by Ertz' Prescence. You are correct regarding the rookie curve. While JD5 has been unprecedented, Sanistril, Coleman and McCaffery have all had ups and downs as starters this season.

I love to banter with the likes of you, Sty, Kb and many others everything or anything Washington Football. I have been rooting for this team since '77 which is truly when I could understand what was going on with the Redskins. The coach was still George Allen and my Family was all in. My dad, a DC motorcycle cop at the time, performed security detail for all home games. We were all ate up and ALL football. My brother's and I played for SYA in Fairfax at the time and we ate, drank, slept and played football against anyone, anytime, anyplace, lol. I went on to coach after the service from youth up to the HS level for 25 years. Most of that in the PNW but I started coaching youth football in Fredericksburg in 1988.

So, if I come off as "shouting back" or defensive, I'm not really and I certainly apologize. I feel as though I'm looking through a different Lense at times especially when I am watching games due to my coaching background. When I coached, every yard given up was a prisoner on defense and every yard gained on offense wasn't enough. The game was always like a chess board to me and strategy was essential to winning.

Thats awesome, I enjoy a good sports debate. I also like to understand different opinions on players and player moves.
The history and experience with the team various board members have is also a plus.
No apologies needed, we are passionate about our team!!
