Arghhh. My boy lost their varsity playoff game 9-8. He had a double, single and 2 walks. Came up when it was 8-8, man on 2nd, and they intentionally walked him. Coach told him after the game there was no way he was getting to hit LOL

I understand the strategy but that sucks for your boy... Gotta be a proud pop even if it stings you both with the loss...

there should be a rule no texting to JUMP another owner... if an owner gets skipped the NEXT pick MUST be a live pick...

Why? texting or leaving a list makes it easier and faster for the draft.

I get that, but if a player gets skipped, and the next owner is not available I just think the skipped owner should get a little more time... Maybe give him another hour before using the NEXT owners list...

If the guy was skipped he already had 2hrs OTC then your asking for another hour after he is skipped seems to much for me. I am the time nazi and wasn't around last draft to enforce the OTC rule. We want to keep the draft moving and that's why nos came up with the 2hr rule.

Just wondering, is the goal for the draft to go as fast and smooth as possible, or to keep draft integrity?? I mean, after the first couple rounds it is all a crapshoot... But the first couple rounds, if you get skipped, it could really affect your chances to make a good team...

but either way it is a good thing we didn't have to skip anyone yet...

I would even propose that we should never skip a player in the first 2 rounds...

That's a great point but if there is no time limit there have been whole days that people don't pick and it drags the draft down imo...

I fully agree we want accuracy but we also can't wait forever. Your the one who said wait till noon and we did. We still are waiting on Gold and Bums is OTC. In a ideal world we all would pick with in the 2hr limit. What's the point of having a time limit if we aren't going to follow it. Yes it totally sucks to be skipped in rd1 the most important round but once again we can't wait all day.

Yes and Yes. 3rd year in a row we've been knocked out in the 2nd round, 1 run game each time(started as freshman) Next year we gotta get it done!
