Definitely have to have a plan with this formatHmmmmmm i'm thinkin
To me, Pete Rose not being in the HOF may be the single stupidest thing I've ever heard of. If you go to Canton Ohio, the Pro Football HOF still has a bust of some dude who lopped off two peoples heads and got off because he ate 3 pizza's a day until his hands got too fat for his glovesUK is now disqualified and kicked out of any future drafts for taking Pete Rose. It's implied that Rose is my pick in every draft.
Definitely have to have a plan with this format
HaHa, looks like you did fine taking the best player on the board at #1. I hated passing on the guy I had as the 2nd best overall, but I thought Rose was the best non HOFer and had some value as a multiple position guyGuess I'm screwed then

Exactly what I was thinking about. My next pick isn't till 15, I figured with the limits on HOFers and HOF by team, I might get a top 10 caliber HOF or a top non HOF there. Hope it doesn't backfire, but that's what makes these things fun IMOI definitely considered Rose but I didn't think the value of having an extra HOF player was worth passing up Willie. Especially since we have more people this time. Maybe if we only had six I would have gone with Rose.
Agree on Joe Jackson.I wont share my thoughts on Pete Rose because it's too early in the draft to start fighting. It's a bigger travesty Shoeless Joe's not in IMO...
Welcome to your opinion Bro. We all get 6 HOF players, and 18 non HOFer's, and I got one Hell of a leadoff hitter, which are hard to come by, who can play 2nd base, which is probably the thinnest position in this draft, and well as 3B, OF and 1B. Not to mention I still have 6 HOF picks left to just 5 for you, meaning Rose will match up against the 1st non HOFer you pick and not one of your 6 HOF picks. Add to that, I could now take 2 HOFer's at any of those said positions, play one at 2nd, one at DH and Rose somewhere else, and totally deplete the position for someone else. Added to that, while I think Rickey is a great leadoff man, I clapped when you picked him, because I have 10 guys on my big board that were better players. Dig it?Because i love debating... UK i really hate your pick... there are some really bad HOF who made it, who are worse than Rose, but Rose would be a low end HOFer if he ever makes it...

Rose hit leadoff as well as two hole. As I said, Rose is a non HOFer, so when I draft a HOFer, we can compare him to Rickey, and when you draft a non HOFer, we can compare him to Rose. We'll see how that works out for yaWell, you know how i love lead off men... I think they are the hardest to come by... especially the best one in the draft... I don't consider pete rose a leadoff, he is more of a number 2 hitter, and he is elite there... I just hope you don't draft a better #2 hitter, and get stuck with rose...
