Just saw that Manfred will be pushing for expansion teams in both the NL and AL.

I figure even if MLB works hard on that, it'll be until 2019 before we see an expansion team start playing.

The silver lining I take from it all is this: we have at least 4 more years of not being the only AL team to never make a World Series.

A silver lining is that I did not rip my TV out of the wall and throw it off my deck after I saw the ball fly off of Kinsler's bat.

Dustin Ackley is hitting .320 in the month of July so far. OPS of 920.

Perhaps that'll get someone to take a flier on him.
