I agree. The perfect time too. On December 3, 2014, Leaf was released from prison (burglary and drugs) and placed under the supervision of Great Falls Probation and Parole. Chip would be a good father figure.

Sounds like it was a "leave no stone unturned" kind of move. And why not? If people are whispering "hey Tebow's got better at throwing the football" why not check it out for yourself if you don't really have yourself 3 quality QBs on the roster?

The read I posted earlier on what Tebow has been doing is interesting. Tebow has evidently been working several days a week with a throwing guy year around since he was cut. He has several thousand reps in with his improved mechanics. In addition, he has a regular workout schedule. This paints a picture of an incredibly self motivated, hard working individual.

Can't help but root for the guy. You would like to see that sort of hard work pay off.

Tebow is disliked more for his Christian beliefs than for his shortcomings at QB.
