If OJ can beat murder charges, I'm sure Hernandez will be able to as well. Hell, just hire the attorney Donte Stallworth did -- He killed a guy while driving drunk and didn't serve any jail time (not sure if all of that is truth, as I don't remember the story verbatim)

Imagine having Hernandez stretching the middle of the field with Calvin on the outside. I say Detroit puts in a claim before anyone else does. Maybe they could work out some sort of job release program with the jail and Hernandez can come play on Sunday's and then ship him back to jail.

Stallworth was drinking the night that the accident occured, but he was under the legal limit for alcohol. From what I read about the incident and trial he would have likely been charged with nothing if not for having some alcohol in his system. He hit a man that had stepped out into the street in a 45 mph zone outside of a crosswalk and I believe it was in a fashion that Stallworth wouldn't have had the ability to stop under any normal circumstances. He did have some jail time and was charged with vehicular manslaughter. Obviously it was very light jail time.
