Its going to happen. If you would have asked me this a couple years ago I would have laughed. But now there doesnt seem to be anything stopping it. It would take the owners to vote against it.

The NFL should have no issue with a team being in one of the most recognized cities on earth. Not many cities have more of a global appeal.

Vegas is the biggest city with no major sports teams, until now. NHL is here, and the NFL is coming. I hope they tell the NBA to get fucked when they come knocking.

Pretty easy decision...Raiders should move to Vegas. So far Vegas has shown they really want them. In Oakland the stadium is falling apart and they just haven't shown enough that they really want the Raiders in Oakland. Throw in I don't think they will lose the Oakland fans because Vegas really isn't that far away. It won't be like the Rams moving to LA. Right now I just don't see any way this move doesn't happen. Oakland would have to step up big time and make the Raiders an offer they can't refuse. Really at this point though with so much money already put up and so many owners supporting the move it would be hard to take that train off the track.

Bringing the Raiders back here to LA, was my first choice, but man, Vegas is the perfect 2nd choice for me. I love Vegas, its my 2nd home. I go to Vegas at least 6 times a year. Party Friday, party Saturday, game on Sunday, and back home Monday morning. Oh I cant wait!

They should just to get out of that shit-hole city called Oakland. And since most of their fans are too poor to follow the team from Oakland they might get some respectable fans for a change.

@Peter Gozintite already said that he might start rooting for the Raiders so you can shit can that idea

Not a big gambler so Vegas isn't huge for me. I'll play a little craps, enjoy the pools and nightlife, and of course the buffet at the Rio. But only have been a couple times. I will say that if there was a package with tickets it would make that an interesting idea for a weekend away.

Same here, im not too big on the gambling, I got for the pool parties and the nightlife. I have to be careful Saturday night. I can't get to wasted and be hungover Sunday when it's gameday and can't make it to the stadium.

The one thing I do hate about Vegas, and I will never get used to it, is the damn heat. It should be against the law for it to be over 100° at NIGHT.

Vegas would be a good fit for the NFL. the NHL is going there next year but i think the NFL makes more sense there than the NHL.

Just came back from Vegas. I do like to bet when there. However - even if you don't gamble at all there is so much to do there - at least for an extended weekend. You can see just about any concert or comedy show, go to attractions like the high roller ferris wheel, dine at just about any budget level & for any type of cuisine, people watch at the pool or go just about anywhere & get drunk 24x7 if you like. Some really good golf & other outdoor things are close by.

As mentioned the heat is bad, but it kind of depends on the time of year. This past weekend the weather was outstanding so I imagine if you attend a game from midseason on it will be very nice.

I don't see how the heat would be a problem in Vegas considering the proposed Stadium is indoors. Knowing Vegas, the stadium will be 78 degrees year round like all the casinos are.

Plus late fall and winter in Vegas can be rather cold. It definitely has snowed in Vegas during the winter.

July/August is that time of year that fits the stereotypical Vegas weather most of know and laugh about.

I am curious where the raiders/viking/chiefs fan ran off to. I want to hear the explanation of his favorite team.
