Here is the thing: Lebron isn't the reason the NBA is alive and well. Lebron is not God and did not create or make the NBA successful. He is merely one more player in the NBA circle of life and after he retires, he will be replaced and most people will forget about him. He is a good player, but nothing that special or wonderful to justify that change. In fact it is the NBA that made Lebron. Without the NBA, he would be a broke nobody, a zero, simply nothing working at regular job
