My buddy who is a HUGE Texans fan down here in Houston called me last night. He has an extra ticket in the nose bleeds asked if I wanted to go. Just have to take him out for wings as payment. Would be cool to go but just don't care for the violence that has been at games lately for visiting fans.

Most likely just going to wear a black shirt last time I wore a Bengals jersey to a game I got beer dumped all over me. Not here in Houston. It was at lame ass Baltimore by a drunk asshole.

Would you guys go or would you watch on TV? Free ticket and 10 miles from home. Doubt they have any Bengals crap to buy at the game. haha

Houston fans aren't violent. Any problems with this was from cowboy fans and some of the people that live around reliant. Houston has addressed that issue as well

1) You'll see the game better at home
2) Visiting fans have a good shot at getting into trouble with home fans

That said, it's the playoffs---and our boys can use some support.....enjoy!

You never know when the Bengals will go to a playoff game again. Let's be honest. Plus, who knows...they may win. Law of averages is bound to apply at some point, right?

Go for it.

The law of diminishing returns seems to apply to our boys most often.....

Thx for the replies! Think I am going to go. There will be a few Dalton fans and Bengals fans there.

Yep, but the big deal to us who live here in Houston is Dalton is a local HS hero.

There's rarely ever a reason to go to an away game. As doug said, the game is much more viewable at home.

a good excuse... "Hey bud, I'd like to root for the Texans, but my wife just got out of the mental hospital and bet 10000 dollars on the Bengals, and I'm seriously in debt from her psychiatry bills as it is!"

I would definitely go. That is assuming you don't hate fun like some of these other people.

Baltimore fans really need to stop wearing that purple camo and beads..... It's not a gay pride parade. It's a football game.

I wouldn't go to the Super Bowl if I had free tickets, plane, and hotel. Not a chance. It's just not my idea of fun. I'm an adult.

Totally disagree with this. I have been to quite a few Bengals road games and have had a great time. In fact, I think going to road games is more fun than the home games. Chatting and drinking with the opposing fans is awesome. We have had epic tailgate parties in Tampa, Foxboro, Green Bay, Chicago, etc. The only issue I have had with asshole opposing fans was in Cleveland. Go figure.

I would most definitely go. No question about it. You will be surprised at how many Bengals fans you see. We travel pretty well for downtrodden franchise. We are making a return trip to Foxboro if we win this week. 8:00 PM game surrounded by rabid, drunk Bostonians. If the Bengals pull an upset, we may need a police escort out of Gillette.
