Anyway, the only place I even think about benching Clay is in Colorado.... and probably would still start him.
Yeah, Hammel let me down this week too.
Some mighty arms right there. I wouldn't get too fancy most weeks. Sure, you can fall into two starts like Colon had now and then, but I'd be careful.

I know it's a keeper league but Reed is now on the DL and he isn't helping me currently.. Do you think he will even help me next season? Should I use him as a trade chip, drop him pick someone else up....
I almost dropped him for JBJ (wish I had) but didn't and now JBJ is gone
Again.... he wasn't supposed to help you currently.
If you want to add someone you have drops to make with those streaming arms on your bench.
If you don't want to wait for Reed to be a factor (July at the earliest), then drop him.
I would fill my bench with as many prospects as I can hold.
Yeah good point he wasn't. That is true. However he has been declining as of late so that has me a little worried

Not sure what to do with this.
Picking up Jackie Bradley JR. Would have been fine, but you don't need to drop a prospect to do it. You ain't winning this year. Keep your prospects and drop the vets that have no chance to be keepers.
Yeah he would really only help me this year and I aint winning, however he is "proving" himself that he can do it in the majors and Reed hasn't yet (obviously)
Right. But Reed still is not the drop. You have many players in your roster that have no chance at being quality keepers for you next season. You should be picking up young players like JBJ and dropping the low upside vets.
I'd imagine Ozuna is long gone, correct? Buxton?
I'll say it again...Trea Turner? What is it, 15 SBs in AAA already?
An interesting aside:
One league I'm in has 11 teams. Instead of a bye week, we opted that one team a week would face the league average score, so total points scored divided by 11.
As of this morning, the league average team is 4-0 and in sole position of first place. . .
Update on this fuckin anomaly:
The league average team is now 5-0, still in 1st. . . I thought for sure this would be the week it would lose because it faced the #2 overall scoring team, but no, it beat them too.
The teams it's beaten have the following records:
1-4
2-3
4-1
1-4
3-2
Total - 11-14
It's beaten two out of the top four scoring teams in our league. Fuckin nuts.
