I feel your pain... I know it very well .. sorry your going through that ... These leagues don't have a lot of loyalty for the cities they represent, sadly... It all boils down to $ .. Green Bay Packers have the best ownership deal in the NFL, but the league quickly banned any other team from doing that... Some of the private owners are good people, but people don't live forever, and other people take over eventually that aren't so good ....

As a life long Cubs fan, I believe that you cheer for the team you picked in childhood forever.

However, I have never had to deal with a relocating team.

I think you are stuck with the Chargers unless they move. At that point, I would not judge you for defecting somewhere else. They already abandoned you, you owe them nothing.

Of all the away games in a season San Diego is always the most intriguing. Love the city! Barely got my wife to come home after vacation. 1) There is so much to do in California
2) many of us here are fans of another team (me Patriots)
3) Cost of living here makes going to the games difficult for the masses
4) I associate the Raiders attire with a wannabe gansta or a skinny kid with long greasy hair
