Just 12-14 years ago the U.S. was talking about doing away with a guarded Northern Border.

The fact Canada had one of the most liberal immigration policies in the world is now coming back to hurt them. This may not be a lone wolf attack but the car attack yesterday was. Until Canada decides to start booting these people they will be targeted. Starting to look a lot like Britain just to our North.

im a little torn on that... do you let them leave the fear in you and do that? or just be on the super safe side. if these guys wanted to target citizens then why not a mall? security getting into an arena can be controlled. Im ok with it being postponed

Think it's more the fact the public is shaken. It's becoming quite clear these dipshits are targeting gov't/military more than the public in general.

at this point every"thing" seems to be on lockdown ... they need to get some clarity on whats happening before they can allow public to be put at risk ... so hockey game cancellation seems like it will happen

One of the soldiers at the War Memorial in Ottawa had to 'run away' as the weapon they're issued has no ammunition in it. It's 'symbolic.'
