We had the most stupid Rube Goldberg set up. One person leading along the side of the boat w/the bait, another with a GoPro on a stick, then 2 of us filming the GoPro.

Took several efforts & the near loss of the GP but did get a shot of the inside

I've lost hooked fish to sharks. Mostly Blues. Once they show up we move to a new area.

The damn sea lions are fucking pests. They are no longer threatened or endangered imo.

Barracuda can be a nuisance biting a fish in 2 while still on the line & large groupers will steal anything they can.

LOL, we were at Neptune Island, Australia doing shark cage diving & went close in to the shore to swim with the seals. They WARNED everyone that they will play around you but are actually leading you out to sea.

You got it, we had to rescue a couple of people who fell for it. Even funnier, they lured them right out into great white territory.

Pacific Barracuda are pelagic and don't pick up the reef toxins that large Atlantic Barracuda do. They are delilicious. Minimum size to keep is 28 inches.

I've gone Albacore fishing out of San Diego and Morro Bay, CA.

I've gone off the coast of WA state, but the further north you get the rougher the seas, so I don't go out as much and don't go out further than a few miles.

It's what I do. Travel the world to different reefs & oceans to snorkel & do some underwater photography. I enjoy it.

Shark week is God.

With the exception of that idiot Cedric the entertainer getting an hour long slot for him to wax on insufferably ( please don't ever give another celebrity the opportunity to make it all about themselves other than sharks) shark week is so fun.

I have a buddy that surfs.
I remind him when Shark Week is on. Then I text him updates on what I see on Shark week. I feel like I am helping, but the fucker is so unappreciative. I am expecting thank you's & all I get are FU's
but no worries. I am a good friend & I will continue to keep him informed.
