I really never have attached to the idea of one player is the best ever. Time and circumstance has created some of the players and their accomplishments which may have made them look better than they actually were. I do agree that there is a large group that belongs in the top twenty to thirty though and perhaps he is one of them but Russell won a lot more championships than any one and Michael Jordan retired at the top of his game.Shaq needs to put himself in an episode of Shaqtin' a fool. Dr. J was a special player and fun to watch, but he's not the best ever.

You must have blacked out for 2001-2003Michael Jordan retired at the top of his game.
I am talking about the second time he quit. If had played those two years in between each three peat, he would have had 8 rings. The last time he played for the Wizfarts - He came back to old and to late. In his prime, Michael was the best and Shaq is full of shit as usualYou must have blacked out for 2001-2003![]()

When Shaq chose MJ over LeBron: Yes Shaq you're 100% right!
When Shaq chose Dr. J over MJ and LeBron: GTFO here Shaq!
i still hate andrew toney. and when barkley joined the team dr j was 35.Dr J was my favorite player as a kid, but there's no way he was the best ever. Heck, when Barkley joined the Sixers after they drafted him he said Julius wasn't the best player on the team. According to Barkley, Andrew Toney was.
