Man if the Bills GM pulled that off by trading a second year kid on IR for Shady is a steal IMO. Kiko is a stud from what we saw in his rookie season, but damn...

Wow, would not have traded Kiko Alonso for a RB with 6 seasons and almost 1,500 carries on him. Shady is a helluva RB, don't get me wrong, but Alonso had an absolute monster rookie season before losing last year to injury. The guy was instinctive as it gets behind a good Buffalo D-line. 5 years from now McCoy will be bouncing around as a RB2/RB3 on a one year deal, while Alonso may well be the best MLB in the game..

He's 26 yrs old. Plenty of life left in him. I think both teams got what they wanted. Bills had a solid D but their O needed some playmakers. They got one helluva one in Lesean.

Agree with you that the Bills defense was stout without Kiko last year so it does seem he is a trade chip that was used.

It would make sense for the Bills if they had filled a position that they needed help in. Spiller and Jackson are a good backfield. I don't know that the difference between McCoy and Spiller = Kiko

McCoy had more rushing yards this year than Spiller had the last two combined. McCoy has Twice the career Yards from scrimmage that Spiller does as well.(Spiller is a year older but has played one less season.)

I think the Bills were done with CJ.

Mayhew should of seen if we could of got Mccoy for Tulloch and Palmer. Since they don't mind LB's with knee injuries. Would of been sweet to see McCoy playing on the turf at ford field!

You're on crack. McCoy may only be 26, but he's got s lot of mile on the odometer. Not worth 2 2nd round picks, imo...

I would do that.

We were fine without VanNoy, and Shady is going to produce at a better clip than most 2nd rounders. Expensive, but the best RB in the NFL typically is.

I would have tried to trade Levy straight up first though. Save the pick and the younger linebacker.
