Settle a soccer question for me, please

I'm a hockey and football guy, and don't follow soccer at all. My girlfriend is sometimes over the deep end about politics and is a conspiracy theorist. So, now she's following this stuff about soccer players dropping dead on the field after getting Covid shots. Her latest claim is that it's over a thousand.

Any truth to this? It seems pretty absurd that other than her conspiracy web sites, there's nothing else on this. A sports forum like this one would light up over this, but there's nothing. Besides, why only soccer players? Would hockey and football players somehow be immune? How about pro tennis players, or pro bicyclists? Basketball?
