Trade him to the dodgers. I hope he gets a World Series with them this year. Would be nice to get a lot of good prospects back for him.

How much is a lot especially for a rental

A projected Top of rotation starter in their farm system and an upper tier position player/ or a MORP starter/ Projected high end reliever.

I'd go for 2 blue chip prospects and one of them having to be a good chance of developing into a solid #1 or #2 starter.

The dodgers are a good partner because they are in the national league ( we wouldn't have to see Darvish every year) and the Dodgers don't want to waste Kershaw's prime. He's already won several Cy youngs out there and winning a World Series is the main thing left on his bucket list. I'd assume that JD could get a sweet deal if he could convince the dodgers that the acquisition of Darvish would likely put them over the top. ( which it would... they would be World Series favorites)

Darvish would be the most sought after piece on the market and you gotta give up something good to get something good.

As that process begins to take place, it’s important to note that Darvish possesses partial no-trade rights. While it’s not at all clear whether he’d get in the way of a deal, particularly given that he’ll be a free agent in a few months regardless, that adds another potential hurdle. Per Jim Bowden of Sirius XM, via Twitter, Darvish currently can block trades to the Cubs, Indians, Pirates, Red Sox,and Rockies (along with five other teams that are in no position to consider a rental starter).

Trade Chatter: Darvish, Alonso, Red Sox, Ramos, Stanton, Cahill, Nunez

From SI's Jay Jaffe.

Darvish’s camp has suggested that he’s seeking a contract along the lines of Stephen Strasburg’s seven-year, $175 million deal, which is apparently too rich for Texas’s tastes.

Given their fierce intrastate rivalry with the Rangers, the Astros would appear to be longshots, and most of the other teams have voiced a preference for controllable pitchers.

Still, renting a pitcher of Darvish’s caliber has to be enticing. Imagine how much greater the Indians’ chances at ending their 69-year championship drought would be if they could pair him with Corey Kluber. Likewise for the Dodgers, who haven’t won since 1988, with Darvish in tandem with Clayton Kershaw. In Milwaukee, he could be the second coming of CC Sabathia, who in 2008 carried the Brewers to their first postseason trip in 26 years

You may be a little light in the shorts since he is looking for 7 yrs at $175 mil.

I kind of agree with Crawler. The Dodgers have a reason and money to want Darvish.

Teams will start competing with each other very soon for his services. Hearing the Dodgers are interested in him is great news. Start the bidding! I trust JD in these circumstances. I will be disappointed if he's still a Ranger August 1st.

It is a very bogus list with Gordon Keith being on it. A lot of ballot box stuffing going on by a lot of knuckleheads no doubt.
