But with that said, classic Portland playoff history has shown it aint over until you got 4 wins.

If Rockets won tonight I thought they won the series, but with Portland now up 3-1 and seeing with how many opportunities Houston has thrown away and choked, I don't see Portland losing 3 straight to Houston.

As I said on the Spurs/Mavericks series thread, coming down from 3-1 down as the team with HCA isn't all that hard. Protect home court and all you have to do is win one stinking road game. They were the better team in 3 of the 4 games now and were the better team in the 2 games in Portland

I don't know if you guys brought it up...but man it LOOKED like Mo Williams was way out when he saved that ball on that last play in the 4th. I'd have to see it again though....but Portland got the benefit of a couple of big calls just as Houston did in game 1

Houston might have HCA, but the haven't won a home game yet in this series...

My guess is Rockets take game 5, but I see game 6 in Portland going to Blazers. I am much more confident in winning this series now that Portland is up 3-1, then had they lost and this thing was 2-2.

And as easy as this series could be 2-2, it could easily been a sweep for Portland.

But overall, Houston most certainly had their chances in this game

Houston has ahd their chances in just about every game. Game 1 they were up 11? with 4 minutes left?

First and foremost Harden needs to learn to not lollygag with the damn ball wasting 20 seconds. In the 4 games I've watched he has done it consistently.

That being said he can keep doing it!

It could easily be a sweep for Houston also. Houston were clearly the better team IMO in 3 of 4 games. The only game which Portland was the better team overall was probably game 2

That makes absolutely no sense... If they were the better team they would have won. You can say all you want about bad calls. Good teams overcome them, not use them as an excuse.

It makes a lot of sense actually. You can be the better team for 46 of 48 minutes but you let one team hang around and a couple of bounces in the final 2 minutes go their way and bam you lose.

No it's true. This series could easily be and maybe should be 3-1 Houston. But Portland has been resilient.

Quite frankly I believe the better team beat Houston. Last week, I predicted that Houston would not get past the second round and was wondering if they could get past Portland. Howard is a good player, but I don't think he has the drive and push in him to get to the next level and until he does that - he will never get to the finals again.

Lakers would be a playoff team if they still had him....
