When a fat lady is dominating a sport that requires nimble footwork then yeah there is something weak and wrong with the era. She easily lost to the first player that out moved her. Hope others can learn from this.

But she beat Steffi! She dominated since she burst into the tennis scene. An injury halted that dominance but she came back and continued beating people who you classify as having nimble footwork. But to the dumb and the clueless they have no idea that if you dish out nonreturnable serves with aces,as well as being one of the best returners in the game you do not need much footwork to dominate! But does any real tennis fan thinks that the current group of tennis stars who hit the ball harder than ever with new equipment, work out and better conditions are weaker than the those who played in the 80's and 90s? Give me a break.

That is the idiotic mentality of a power basher. Serena has typically played and won against players playing her type of game but a little less powerfully. When someone that moves well and returns well and holds serve well she is basically clueless and loses in straight sets and throws a tantrum and blames it on the ref.

She needs to learn manners more than tennis at this point and being an old grandma on the verge of being sent into retirement by twenty year olds of the game that says a lot.

This is the outright, moronic mentality of a clown. How was she able to beat all these so-called nimble-footed ones and co-holds the record of most GS if all that she does is bash the ball? You've got to be kidding me. She won Australian Open when she was pregnant for crying out loud. Reducing her success to only an ability to bash the ball is more a reflection of your ignorance than on her. Well, she lost Wimbledon, did she throw a "tantrum?" She played and lost at FO did she throw a tantrum? You are hopelessly ridiculous.
