Still on team no neck. I hope the Isles take it in OT in 7. Let the cap circumventing dildoes gets as close as possible before having it yanked from their cold, unfeeling hands.

I’m not sure what would be worse…the $17M cap cheating Bolts or the curse of David fucking Volek.

Isles in seven.

16,000 fans in Amsterdam make a hell of a lot more noise than the same number in Tampa.

Had the game on in the living room as I was in the kitchen making some tacos and thought "Are they not allowing fans all of the sudden?"

W/O Hockey for a few days I totally missed game 1 but naturally part of me is like ehh who cares the Bolts will win. Then I checked the score board and would have thought I would have been happy over and Islanders win.

Anyway curious for those who watched game one did Barzal, overall, play well since he scored the goal? If so, him waking up, might be just what the Isles need to win it.

I only watched the 3rd period, but based on that period and reading what people was saying on-line, the score flattered the Bolts as the Isles were all over them.

Same, I only caught the end of the second and the third. Isles were everywhere intercepting every pass and keeping the Bolts outside. Plus when the Bolts finally got through, Varly was locked in. By the time I tuned in, the Lightning looked deflated and the building was dead. It took a Kucherov dive and 6 on 4 with the goalie pulled for them to even get a fluke bounce goal.

Barzal didn't stand out to me specifically. Leddy and Puloch did. And Brock Nelson looked strong, IMO. Until he breathed on Kucherov wrong, that is. And believe it or not, Clusterfuck looked good.

To this day I have no clue how Clusterfuck, Martin and Cizikas work, but they do. 2/3 that line are not NHL players and I would argue Cizikas is a marginal role player who can be replaced.
