They should have a rule, effective for this year and last year that if you beat the team in the regular season, you automatically win the post-season game and advance. Since we beat New England this year and New York Giants last year, we automatically win last year's Super Bowl. And now since we beat Green Bay this year, we automatically win over them this time. Bring on Atlanta, Seattle (split), or Washington!

If the 49ers can't keep the ball with sustained drives and keep Rodgers off the field it will be bad. If we start going three and out and Green Bay goes all "New Enghland" on us with the hurry up, this could get ugly quick.

The goal should be to go back to Alex Smitthing the ball down the field (with Kaepernick of course) and then get in Rodgers' grill on defense. Easy to say, harder to do.

Slow, methodical drives on offense and pressure in Rodgers' face on defense is the recipe.

The effectiveness of Justin Smith in the pass rush will tell the story. If the 49ers pull this one out it will be one of the bigger wins in the team's history.

Our pass rush in general will be a big factor. I sometimes get annoyed when we only send 3 man rushes.

Also the run game.
