In probably unrelated news I think Goose Island’s Bourbon County Brand Stout was very smooth and drinkable even at 14.7% and my head really hurts today. I hope one of those Wrath of Khan worms didn't crawl in my ear when I was sleeping.

I'm working on a joke about Lazyboy recliners teaming up with the most popular medieval torture device and creating the Chair Of Anguish. It's not done yet but it's going to be tremendous.

If I finish it soon I may hold off and debut it Jan 1st, start off the year right.

It was just nice to really celebrate Christmas this year. In years past, my family had to close our blinds at night and cover our Christmas tree by day, lest the neighbors spot it and rat us out to local authorities. Presents had to be purchased one at a time to avoid detection. We felt like Anne Frank. I never read that book in school but I know she had to hide in an attic - probably persecuted for her love of Jesus, too!

But this year we could finally walk the streets in an ugly sweater, send cards to friends without fear of the government destroying them en route, and put out lawn decorations like an inflatable abominable snowman to tell people what we believe!

It's nice to not live in fear any longer.

I know! I gladly climbed on my roof to change the lights from saying "Happy Holidays!" to "Merry Christma"*. Finally we could come out if the attic so to speak. I could put in my Christmas cassettes and throw out my holiday ones. I could send the girls at HR Christmas cards not holiday cards. Esther was really surprised. So we too felt a little like Anne Frank. In fact Anne Frank wrote about her vagina in her diary and so does Mom, so lots in common!

*In my excitement I made the letters to big and it was too cold to change them. I told the neighbors that Christma is the Latin plural of Christmas.

It's also what they say a lot in Boston...
"Hey, Tommy, Merry... Christ, ma! yeah, I'm coming in the house. I'm talking ta the O'Keefe's for christ's sake!"

PS - I lost it a little at the end of the first paragraph. hahaha.

Roy Moore claiming voter election fraud and will file a complaint against registering the Alabama election results. Stop being such a punk, Roy and just go away.

Roy Moore files complaint to block Alabama Senate result - CNNPolitics

Moore's complaint also alleged "anomalous" higher voter turnout in Jefferson County, in which census data shows 43% of the population is black. He called the county's 47% voter turnout as "highly unusual" and questioned the integrity of its election results.

Republican playbook - When you win, it's because of your great platform and ideas. When you lose, it's because the electoral system is corrupt. This is their answer to everything - elections, the FBI, judges, reporters, etc. Ya know, people who have dedicated their lives to public service and objectivity. But somehow they are all part of a vast conspiracy to... make the country they live in worse because.... ??? Literally the point of view of an insane person.

Funny that there's no mention of Russia who also continues to ship oil to North Korea.

Did Trump Say It?
I'll respond to posts with quotes from Trump from the campaign, the White House, etc. You tell me if they are real or fake.

"I called them up and said 'guys, what are you doing?' We gotta work together if big things are going to happen, and believe me, they will. Some of the greatest things will happen. But if we are going to be great, then you have to be great. And we all can be, by the way. China has to, they must, I mean that, they really have to... work with us on this. Ya know? So, it will be great."

Well, did he say it?

Well that last part is true. We literally haven't seen him do anything yet until tax reform, so credit for those numbers must go to Obama. Especially when you consider the lag in time as it relates to government action and macroeconomic impact.
