I'm sure the states with nothing else like mississippi, arkansas, alabama, and south carolina will pick it up quick. The other states might drag their feet a bit, since those states don't live and die with SEC sports and have pro options.

I'll be happy to watch it as it will improve the morning line-up.
It was great when my cable company picked up the PAC network. Many times it was the only place to catch a game because of the west coast time zone. They're still starting games when folks east of the Rockies are heading off to bed.

Truth is these networks are generally bad. It one thing if you are a die hard, but the average cable subscriber really doesnt want this crap. Generally, it is the worst games on the schedule.

It may be bad for football fans, but wont there be other sports that typically don't get prime TV coverage? I'd be interested in seeing baseball and basketball games for SEC teams not named Kentucky. With Arkansas, wonder if there will be track coverage.

Isn't that what LHN really provides? Interviews, behind the scenes stuff, and lesser covered sports?

yes, but most people dont care much about volleyball, baseball, and etc. I am actually a fan of hte trend adn desire to have a la carte pricing in the cable industry

Actually they carry all sports along with confrence breakdown shows en sech. . There's no need for that pay-per-view shit anymore. The Big 10 has it's daily version of espn's CFB Live.
Also if the games on the major networks are blowouts, there is a chance at a closer game on the conference networks.

Too bad the Big XII can't get together on one.

You and me both. I cut the cable chord in 2010 and haven't looked back. Every time I think about going back to cable or satellite I am ok with the prices and then see the "set top box rental fee" and have a hard time paying $30 a month for a couple of boxes to sit in my house.

I too want a la carte cable pricing, but good fucking luck getting that past the lobbyists in Washington...

Funnily enough, Canada actually just recently passed a law requiring cable/satellite providers to allow customers to pick their channels a la carte...

Heh, I pay 20 dollars per box plus an additional 17 bucks for one DVR... Hell, my bill is at $57 before we even get into the cable pricing...

WTB Google Fiber in Savannah plz...

There are many basketball games that don't get carried by anyone else.
Football pre-season shows, bowl season shows, post season shows, recruiting shows. It's like a mini espn but conference specific.

Which is nice for those of us who's conference isn't backed by ESPN...

Still not a good enough reason to want to live there

Yup, I was paying $120 a month for mid level DirecTV, no Showtime/HBO/Cinemax, sports package for FSSW, an HDDVR and regular DVR, and the HD package. Unbelievable, I was spending $1400 a year for TV.

Now we have netflix and amazon prime, bought playon, and rent movies from Amazon every weekend and save a ton of money on it. Plus my 2 year old has zero concept of time, so he wants to watch his shows at random times. Between youtube and netflix, he can.

either catch it on network TV or online via...alternate...sources :)

I stream games all the time. Nothing like a game on tv and 2 or 3 streaming. Alienware rocks.
