It was kind of tongue in cheek.....kind of.....

However the fan behavior likely had some impact. Otherwise, who would they be left out. I would like them in the ACC, personally, but I also understand how the actions of some idiots can taint the image.

46and2 I disagree completely. It has been told to me by every ACC fan on here and everywhere else that academics at WVU is not strong enough for them to be put in the league. Past fan behavior has never come up, until now. No shock a VPI fan.

I think that the academic rail against WVU is pretty unfounded, but that is just me. The fan behavior at games has and continues to be a problem. As I have said repeatedly, I would take you in the ACC, because I do not think that the actions of a bunch of idiots should not taint an entire university but I can not see any other reason why the SEC would not have accepted you on spot....

The SEC did not accept us because we don't supply enough of a market for them. It is as simple as that. The simple thought that Missouri will deliver the St Louis Market put them in front of us. Although WV is ranked 24 it market size because that included both PA and MD along with WV.

This has been a frustrating process.
