So with @NWinAZ remarks on Jerry postseason comments, France needs to change his approach. He really wants JP as his SS. His COF comments are kind of weird unless Julio is going to move. Because if he plays CF then based off of the comments they need 3 other OF’s. If they get a CF they need 1 with Haggerty and Moore backing up.

Just to be clear, those aren't my comments. Those are all from an article about each subject.

What I read is He wants 4 outfielders with Haggerty and Moore as extras.He wants 2 lefties and 2 righties. He still says he likes Winker and Kelenic which means he is looking for 1 RH outfielder with 1 OF DHing different days. If he is telling the truth, we are screwed.We had the worst hitting outfield group in baseball and that is with the ROY. We need 2 stud OF's to join Jrod. I will say it again, Lewis and Kelenic have to be spring training invites with a chance to make the team and not pencilled in roster players.

Again, just because Jerry said something doesn't mean it's absolute.

I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up something close to what he said, but I also wouldn't be shocked that a deal not discussed happened.

Oh man I am not liking the implications of that thought process. Moore and Wanker have no right to be in the outfield on a contending MLB team, which I believe the Mariners now are.

hell look at what has happened post season, YOUR Seattle Mariners are clearly the 2nd best team in the AL this season. NYY have not been in a single game thus far and are down 0-3 and headed for a 4 game sweep loss tomorrow. We gave the Astros all they could handle for 3 straight games in October.

Watch closely the athletic ability and stature of the Phillies and SD Padres and Houston outfielders. ALL are tall strong and fast / quick with good OF arms. Moore and Wanker would never see an inning all season on any of those 3 clubs.

All we can hope for is Trader Jerry has on his Lets make a Deal costume this winter and scrounges up at least 1 solid outfielder to replace Haniger whom I am near certain will be gone ( and I am glad he is ). if Kelenic breaks camp and has earned a roster spot, so be it. He can play the open outfield spot along side Julio and whomever JD signs or trades for ( a STUD ) as NWinAZ mentioned above.

I can tolerate a replacement 2nd basemen with marginal pop and a .250 avg, but we need an OF'r who can put up some big offensive numbers.

The problem for the first part of your statement is they probably agree with the second part.

If they think they are that close they won't find the need to do a lot more for the roster.
