Seattle definitely has their ducks in a row. Reminds me of the early 90s Dallas Cowboys. I think the Niners will be ok if they keep the game close and not let it get out of hand.

seaducks don't seem so scary

sometimes a team isn't so scary when you start breaking it down, but sometimes a TEAM just gets on a roll. Seattle is already a good team, but IMO they're also on a roll.

the 49ers got on a roll in 2011.

You forgot the 81 and 84 Niners as well.......but seriously I think he clearly meant more recently the top seeds haven't been the Super Bowl winners.

Were the 81 and 84 teams top seeds ? I didn't look that one up…

John Clayton was on the Seattle radio today -- he said Kaepernick had regressed a little, not as much as people were saying, and that he thought the injuries to Crabtree and Manningham really impeded his development this year to where Wilson progressed and Kaep regressed. He also said that the 49ers could go in to Seattle in the playoffs and win if they play their game. As others had pointed out, here in Seattle it was 5-0 at the half, the defense had played well, and we blew a first and goal from the 5. Anyway, for what it's worth, there it is.
