Game Thread: Seahawks vs Vikings ***MUST WIN***

This is a game between to similar style of teams... Vikings are building their team via the run, defense with a young QB ask the manage the game, while protecting the ball...

Here are a few key call outs regarding the game:

1. Bridgewater has thrown for under 200 yards in 4 out of last 5 games
2. Vikings #1 in the league in rushing... Hawks are #2...
3. Hawks #5 in rush defense... Vikings are #20...
4. Hawks #23 in the league in passing... Vikings are #31...
5. Vikings #4 in pass defense... Hawks are #9...
6. Hawks OL has given up only 6 sacks in their past 6 games...
7. Vikings defense is #17 in the league in sacks
8. RW has thrown 8 TD's / 0 INT's over his past 2 games
9. Vikings have played only (2) teams over .500 this season (Denver/GB) and lost to them both...
10. Hawks defense beginning to force TO's (4 INT's last week)...

I like this matchup for the Hawks... They're built to stop the run and have been doing a very good job in doing so this season... If they can contain AP tomorrow, while forcing Bridgewater to beat them, I see our secondary eating him up for lunch...

We need to keep to continue to protect RW allowing him to step into his passes for throws down the field... Losing Graham isn't going to hurt us too much imo... He did force teams to have to pay attention to him and game plan for him - now that focus will be issued to RW...

I think the Hawks will win this game 23-13...

The "advanced stats" guys say we have an 84% chance for the playoffs with a win and 42% with a loss, so we can throw the MUST WIN thing around but I thought we already used that vs Arizona? And if we lose this one, there's still a fair shot to make it if the nerds are right.

I think we'll win though. The OL is giving the passer some time, and he's making hay. Vikings don't have a lot on offense other than AP. I say 26-18.

Dang man, sucks you miss a Hawks game but family is important. When my only sister got married I was on the phone checking that Giants/Seahawks game several years back LOL. I refuse to attend anymore Sunday weddings. Friend is getting married and invited me to a FRIDAY wedding. They are getting a NICE gift to say the least.

Seriously though, I think the hawks have a chance, but as bad as their defense has been I'm not getting my hopes up too high.

They should be able to sit back in cover 3 and put Kam where he does his most damage. That should work out better than all that tampa 2 crap they have been working with in recent games.
