Surprisingly Wentz took snaps in 11 on 11 drills today.
It isn't official yet but he might make the start afterall.

That's fine. I don't believe he's fully healthy.
I wouldn't imagine that they would send him out there at not 100% at this point. It would be a very unwise move imo.

We will see if he is out there or not very soon!

At the time of injury he had a large time table from 5-12 weeks. Too me 5 seems like a rush back but I could be wrong. I still stand by my statement that Wentz will be rusty and Seattle needs to jump on that.

I don't disagree at all! I just question the Colts' decision if they do rush him back from a painful foot injury. If he is out there I hope he is rusty.

With Wentz he'll play through the pain but he's shown to be off target. When he had the back problem a couple of years ago, he wasn't very good until Philly finally IR'd him.

Why are ya'll concerned about if Wentz plays or not... Have you not watched him the past few seasons? Also, TY Hilton is out as well...

Read the whole thread. His poor play has clearly been addressed (thus the complaint about the Colts being favored).
It isn't concern, but moreso noting that Wentz is back at all as the injury was supposed to keep him out for longer. But I will admit that I would rather face Eason than Wentz.
Also of note is that the Colts starting LT Fisher is out, and both Duane Brown and Diggs are expected to play.
I predicted a 10 pt win for the Seahawks, 27-17.

This isn't going to be the same Wentz, he will be better. Indy was the perfect place for him to go.

He has the talent but he is so gun shy that he forces to much, a better oline and offensive play calling would do him wonders. I don't know if he will ever get his confidence back though and is damaged goods because of how Philly handled him ( not his injuries )
What made him good is the very thing that made him injury prone. His reckless abandon is what made him good in the first place. He is well aware of the fact that his body is fragile and that makes him a useless quarterback. He is done.

I have the feeling both teams will be working out rust because of the shorter pre season … My guess would be a sloppy grind out game … I hope we get the W …

To most of the league, Seattle is called the Seahawks. Carson Wentz knows the team by a different name: Daddy.

That would be my prediction as well.

Colts are a bit banged up on offense and Wentz hasn't gotten a ton of work. Seahawks are learning a new offense and they really didn't have much of a dress rehearsal or work for the starters in the preseason. So I don't see either offense firing on all cylinders out of the gate.

Colts' defense is probably better than the Seahawks' defense but the Seahawks' offense is better than the Colt's offense.

And you have the 10am start time which usually West Coast teams unless they are playing terrible teams tend to start off a bit slow before they get going.

It's a recipe for a game where the defenses are ahead of the offenses and it becomes one part great defensive play and one part sloppy offensive play.

I would definitely give the edge to Seattle but it's one of those games if you were to bet on I'd keep my money in my wallet though.

Looks like the odds have done a 180. Hawks now 2.5 point favorites. I don't have too many worries about this game other than just a little uneasiness about not playing our top 5-10 best players during pre-season for even 1 snap.

Just an FYI but the Seahawks are 17-7 in the Russ era in 10:00 games.

Yeah, I think the 10am thing was put to bed a long time ago. At this point, the worst thing about it is most of the games kick off in that slot so I am missing lots of good redzone action while staying locked on to the Hawks.
