Today it came out that he'll be inducted into Nebraska football hall of fame this this fall.

I got to thinking about this recruitment of Terry Wilson. Does it amuse anyone else that Wilson committed to Nebraska and then directly after that Frost is banging down his door?

Wilson received no other high major offers after he committed to Nebraska except for from Oregon.

Oregon already has a quarterback committed and as far as I know they RARELY if ever recruit Oklahoma kids.

He's been recruiting Nebraska kids hard since he got to Oregon and locked horns a couple times with Bo's staff, but this is different.

I honestly think the guy might be butthurt he wasn't even considered for the HC job and he's been reduced to petty recruiting scuffles because he feels slighted by his alma mater.

I haven't looked into this idea at all, but how many of the Oregon quarterbacks were also recruited by OSU? Could it be that Frost knows that Riley and co. are great at identifying QB talent, so in the past Frost has looked at who they are going after and used the recruiting advantage Oregon has over OSU to pull them in?

That'd take some digging.

It wouldn't be a secret that only Oregon knew though. Other Pac 12 schools are just as aware of HCMR's excellent talent evaluation.

If I have time at some point I'll look at some of the Oregon QBs' offer lists. Would be interesting to find out that this has been going on for a while. He will have a little tougher time now that he is recruiting against Nebraska as opposed to OSU if that's the case.
