That one play that got blown dead, Brion threw it directly into triple coverage..........idk. One thing I do think I know though, is Taylor is probably head and shoulders above Brion at this point.........just like Bo said.

lol.....looks like they did exactly what I did.........look at the spread (25 points) and then try to predict how many points Bo would allow his offense to put up on Kill.

The funny thing is, I was going to say 41-14 at first, but that would make a 27 point spread...........and since the spread was 25, I just gave Minnesota the extra 2 points.

They didn't do what you did. They did what many of the other media members did all week. Is it another coincidence the 25 point spread was mentioned already today on there show as well?
Remember, your said your prediction was based on Bo's compassion toward Coach Kill. As a human, I would find that admirable. As a selfish Husker fan, I'm glad that Bo didn't do and never does anything of the sort. When we were moving at will all game, up 27-0, instead of going for a field goal on 4th down, we go for the touchdown going into the half. Bo wanted the scoring to continue in the 3rd and was upset after the game we didn't score on 2 drives. Then we had one long drive and they had a long drive. The time he he kept the starters in the game was the actions of a coach who had no intention of stopping the bleeding. Again, I can't complain as a selfish fan, except I wish we gave our second team more reps.
Don't get mad Mr. Tall.:boxing::boxing:

So......we basically just lost the 2nd half hands down then?

I don't believe that even for one second. We simmered down BIG time in the 2nd half. At one time we took 3 straight shots down field.........all were 40+ yard passing attempts..........not to try and run up the score, but rather to just see what would happen. It was a good opportunity to practice some things that we may need to use in bigger games down the road. But if we wanted to run up the score, we would have kept pounding it straight at them, and ran play action passes.

We could have scored 70 points in that game. We could have done it with ease.

I will say this about Pelini...............I don't know if you all remember back in 2003 when Kansas State beat us 38-9 in Lincoln, but Pelini charged out on the field after the game and called Coach Snyder out for running up the score.

Pelini just doesn't believe in scoring as many points as you possibly can. He is all about getting the win first and foremost.

Tom Osborne didn't believe in scoring as many points as you possibly can either...........it's just that when he put in his 3rd string, they were still better than the opponent's starters :D

It's okay to keep the score down against teams that aren't likely to mount a comeback if we're up by 3 or 4 tds, but I hope to hell this isn't done against a team that can come back from a large deficit, like the rest of the teams on our schedule, for example.

We will not get up by that many points against anybody else that remains on our schedule.
