No....... I can see future, we break scoring explosion record as our young offensive stars come out of their shells..........

85-12....... barely beating the 84-13 beating we put on them with turner, mike and irving

I could have been right, had we played to our potential...... should have never had a fg in the first half...... Should have been 42-0 at half if not 49-0.... and we should never let off the gas till 8 minutes left in the game- don't care how many points you are winning by.....

I agree. I think it hurts a team when letting up like that. In the second half I blame the coaches for the let up.

Pelini talked in his press conference on Monday about how much respect he has for Coach Kill and how they are good friends, mentioning how he feels bad for what he's had to go through this season.

If we get up by a bunch in this game there will be backups in all over the place. Pelini will not run up the score on Kill.

Nebraska - 41
Minnesota - 16

Well I'll be damned if I didn't almost nail this one :smokin:

On the Schick and Nick Show, they brought attention to themselves and did the "look at me" "look at me" routine. They reminded their listeners what their predictions for the Minnesota game were. One predicted 41-16, the other 42-17. Sound familiar? They just rode the coattails of other media members who made similar predictions earlier in the week. Still love their show.

lol.....looks like they did exactly what I did.........look at the spread (25 points) and then try to predict how many points Bo would allow his offense to put up on Kill.

The funny thing is, I was going to say 41-14 at first, but that would make a 27 point spread...........and since the spread was 25, I just gave Minnesota the extra 2 points.

It was all about respect for who was on the other sideline sir.

No disrespect, but that's a bunch of horseshit. Bo's dumb if that's what that's about. I was watching the clemson blow out of UNC and Urban was talking about how you HAVE to let your back up run the offense if your blowing someone out.

None of this handing the ball off bullshit.

Especially if you know he's not ready to step in for the starter in a big game and do whats nessecary.

Brion will lose us games if he's put in when it's close. He's not ready. They need to let him run the offense.

I don't know if you guys remember the play on 3rd and long where Brion threw a little 5 yard pass or not..........and then Bo was on the sideline and said something like "Are you kidding me?!...God........shut up"...........but it was apparent to me at that point that our offense was running generic plays because Beck didn't feel comfortable putting Brion's arm out there.

However, ultimately, it was about respect for coach Kill. And personally I don't really give a shit if we do blow out a team or not...........get the W.........that is all I want. We can win every game by 1 point and I'll be happy.

I don't get what there was to lose. Let him play in a real game setting. Who knows, maybe he's a gamer and just not a practice guy??

I just think you need to let that guy pass, because he's clearly got better passing potential than Taylor.

:noidea:

I know before the game starts our coaches set goals for how many points their offense should score, and how many points their defense should hold their opponent to. Maybe Beck was scurred that Brion would throw a pick and Minnesota would go down and score.......hard sayin
