I'm revising my pick from 48-10 Nebraska victory to 55-3. I want to see something similar to the Wisconsin/Indiana game or the way Michigan beat Minnesota. Anything less and we still have legitimate cause for concern.

I would rather have 35 - 14 or 21 and see the backups get some legitimate playing time. We are never prepared for an injury at qb because our backups never play more then one drive in 3 games a year.

This cannot be said enough. This may sound just a little arrogant, but if North Dakota State can beat Minny at home we need to have this game over by the third quarter, and get Carnes out there for much needed xp.

In a perfect world, Carnes group scores a couple TD's more, then we see RK III for an entire 4th quarter. Or something. I just know the backups need snaps.

I know you guys are new to the B1G, but you're giving the Goofers offense way too much credit.

They couldn't score any points on Michigan's defense. Zero. Lost 58-0 in Ann Arbor.

If they put up more than a TD on some freak play like a runback on a kickoff, that's sad.

have you seen the Husker D ??
and we lost Crick ta boot

Pelini talked in his press conference on Monday about how much respect he has for Coach Kill and how they are good friends, mentioning how he feels bad for what he's had to go through this season.

If we get up by a bunch in this game there will be backups in all over the place. Pelini will not run up the score on Kill.

Nebraska - 41
Minnesota - 16

Fine, don't run up the score on Minny. It'll leave more for us.

I'd say Bielema should go for 2 after every touchdown this year, but I guess they've got a new coach.

If our defense was as good as the Pelini's thought it was going to be, I would still question your prediction.

Minnesota got shut out by Michigan

that's how bad their offense is

Our biggest weakness on defense is stopping a QB who can run. Minnesota has one of those.

Like I said though, I really don't see Pelini running the score up on Kill.

Without going back and looking, Nebraska's most lopsided score against an opponent under Pelini was 55-0 against Arkansas St. in 2009. Nebraska had a much better defense in 2009 then now. I think we have a better offense this year, but Pelini won't run up the score if he can. On paper Nebraska should win this game by about 45-14, but it will be more like 38-17.

I think this game could go both ways. It all depends on whether this weeks, "set" of DB's will work or not, and if SJB can live up to the hype.

Desmond Howard goes both ways, It all depends on whether he has used all his douche up for his face or not before mid week
