UCLA canceled with both UGA and Auburn at the same time. I think that in the place of UGA and Auburn they scheduled Utah and Cal, but could be mistaken.

It could be true. It’s still on Georgia agreeing to get out of the game. That’s what makes if mutual. Now in 2025 Georgia faces a non conference of Marshall, Austin peay, charlotte and Georgia tech. Pretty easy slate.

You didn’t mention Missouri or ole miss scheduling? Missouri specifically is rated to have the 127th hardest schedule.
Who rated them as having the 127th hardest in 2025?

BTW, is this the article you are referring to?

OSU (and Bama) only control their OOC. Not sure if you knew that. .....and, sorry, not sure I care much about beating some 4-5 loss SEC team who somehow gets ranked if you want to compare. I was only talking OOC.
OMG You live in a fantasy world where OSU is king! Unfortunately reality is different.
Ok you don't want T25 (apparently too many SEC 4-5 loss schools) so let's look at T10 and T5 opponents:

OSU is #42 out of 65 teams in the number of T10 opponents played in the regular season. All 14 SEC teams are in the top 25 of # of T25 opponents played. The SEC has the top 7 teams. The lowest SEC team has played 51 T25 teams. OSU has played only 44 T10 teams in 34 seasons.

OSU is #60 out of 65 teams in the number of T5 opponents played in the regular season. All 14 SEC teams are in the top 15 of # of T25 opponents played (Oklahoma State snuck in tied for #13) . The SEC has the top 13 teams. The lowest SEC team has played 30 T25 teams. OSU has played only 15 T10 teams in 34 seasons.

Time to burst another of you fantasies: OOC scheduling.

....Though you'd be hard pressed to find a team that schedules tougher OOC than OSU other than maybe USC since the mid-90s.
Let's look at the facts! Since 1990, in OOC games only:

OSU is tied for #37 (with Arkansas and Georgia) out of 64 teams (have to leave out ND) in the number of T10 opponents played in the regular season OOC! There are 6 SEC teams that are ahead of OSU. OSU has played only 6 T10 teams in 34 seasons. My team has played 19 (tied with USC for 4th place).

OSU is tied for #27 (with Alabama) out of 64 teams (have to leave out ND) in the number of T5 opponents played in the regular season OOC! There are 6 SEC teams that are ahead of OSU. OSU has played only 4 T10 teams in 34 seasons. My team is #3 having played 15 (5 ahead of USC).

I think I will start referring to the Buckeyes as "tBSUO" for "the Boise State University of Ohio". Your sucky whole schedule can't compete with the big boys so you want to shorten it to only OOC games, LAME.

I answered it already!

A team should schedule 12 opponents each year with as many "good" teams as possible just like Notre Dame. If you are in a conference which demands 9 In-conference games so be it. You gave away control of 75% of your schedule so you better make wise choices on the remaining 25%. I don't care where your team finds the "good" opponents; in-conference, out-of-conference, in Hell or, on Mars. Just make sure you play at least three.
Teams only schedule OOC...no control over in conference. But cool.

FYI, we cannot do anything about our BIG schedule or how tough other teams are....also cannot control people over or under ranking other schools (nor do I care all that much). All I can ask is my team schedule at least one tough OOC every season and for most part they do.

I get it.....this is really all you have for a CFB fix now as your team is often an also ran.

Never said OSU is king....yes, I do think since mid 90s not many can say they schedule better OOC than them other than USC. You are off the rails so didn't really feel the need to read most of your drivel.

That is NOT entirely true. OSU plays UM every year ( if the schedule was completely rotational OSU would have even fewer ranked opponents.

Since 1990, my team has won 3 NC including trouncing OSU 41-14 to win one! Over that span OSU has won just two NC.

Over that span in the regular season my teams has played 13 teams that won the NC. OSU has played just 3!

OSU is a pretender not a contender.

More drivel. OSU played 50 P5 OOC teams since 1990. Of those 17 were ranked with 8 of the 17 having 4 or more losses! In 50 OOC games OSU played a total of 9 opponents that had 3 or fewer losses! My team played 23 OOC opponents that had 3 or fewer losses with 10 OOC opponents that had 1 or fewer losses.

OSU: Pretender not contender.

Uh...OK...but it's not completely rotational and we play UM every year.

Evidence? Not gonna look it up as don't really care as much as you but off top of my head since 1995ish we have played home and homes with USC, Texas, Miami FL, ND, Oklahoma, Oregon, TCU/Va tech (not good when we played, but top teams when scheduled) and Washington. Pretty sure played TX and ND multiple home/homes.

Upcoming schedules include home-homes with Texas, Bama and UGA.

If you'd care to point out seasons we did not schedule a top team please feel free. There have been a couple I know of.

I think you know your team has been mostly irrelevant for a while.....clearly the case when you are trying to prop them up for playing the title winner. THAT is next level comedy.

You love playing the name-game!

I'm going to do this in two parts. First a list of OSU's P5 OOC games since 1990
Arizona
Boston College
California
Colorado
Louisville
Miami (Florida)
Missouri
North Carolina State
Notre Dame
Oklahoma
Oregon
Oregon State
Pittsburgh
Southern California
Syracuse
Texas
Texas Christian
Texas Tech
UCLA
Virginia Tech
Washington State
West Virginia
That's an "impressive" list (although there is a noticeable lack of SEC teams).

OSU played the above teams FIFTY times from 1990 to 2023 yet only 17 of the above "named" teams ended up ranked!

Sorry for all the work you did but had to stop when it was clear you need to look at this again. Started reading at 1995 (since that was the date I mentioned) and rechecked your work for the year you claimed none...... and in 2000 and 2001 (only 2 I looked at) you made a mistake as we played AZ in 2000 and UCLA in 2001.

If you care to go through this again and do a better job feel free.

NO...You need to READ again.
2000 Arizona was 5-6 and UN-Ranked!
2001 UCLA was 7-4 and UN-ranked!
I don't care about the "names" of OSU's opponents - I care about their "quality" and neither Arizona nor UCLA were "good" opponents!
