well that sucks
WTF
You have to start questioning the off season workouts or the strength and conditioning techniques - or both
I can't understand why these guys don't wear braces on their knees. My 22 year old cti II brace weighs 1, maybe 2 pounds and there is NFW my knee will bend unnaturally when I have it on. The technology is there to protect the ligaments without slowing guys down yet even most guys who have already had an ACL reconstructed won't wear them

With a corner especially there is a lot of twisting on the knee, maybe it is too limiting? RB's can wear them so I don't know why a CB couldn't. Wonder if we will see a day not too far away where the NFL makes knee braces part of required equipment for everyone. Then if it slows you down, at least everyone is slowed equally.
Yep. The Badgers O-line has been wearing them for years. Funny you don't see more of tht.
Them new guys had better be gittin' lots'a pressure on the QB and lots'a sacks.
And Sean Lee better flash a football IQ of 150 or so on the body side of things. Need a full year outta him.
Cause this hurts.
I can't who it was but I know a couple years ago a NFL head coach made his entire OL wear knee braces all the way thru training camp.
For the skill positions (other than QB) it won't happen. Just slows them down too much. With OL speed and cutting aren't important.
At this point in the off season actually ACL tears are down from last year. So far if I remember right we have had 8 or 9 this season where last off season there were a total of 11 or 12. Obviously there are two weeks left in the off season so anything can happen but injuries have held steady in the NFL pretty much since 2000. Actually 2000 was the year with the most ACL tears during off season training.
